Personal data we collect

Patchmanager B.V. collects and processes as little personal data as possible. We may collect the following information:

  • contact information including telephone number and email address

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with better service.

The ‘Request A Personal Demo’ contact form

Filling in the ‘Request A Personal Demo’ contact form is optional. We solely use the personal data collected via this form to contact you to schedule and provide a (online) session in which we demonstrate the PATCH MANAGER Software.

The personal data collected via the form will be retained for as long as it takes to complete the purpose and processing thereof. Thereafter the personal data will be archived for internal record keeping.

The personal data collected via this form can be forwarded to our carefully chosen Value Added Resellers whom may process the personal data on behalf of Patchmanager B.V. They too, may only use the personal data for the purpose it is initially obtained for; online demo’s.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We use traffic log cookies (Google Analytics and Clicky) to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes. Both Google Analytics and Clicky are Privacy Shield certified. After 26 weeks the data from Google Analytics is automatically removed from the system. Clicky deletes data based on their storage capacity and only guarantees between 6 and 18 months of history, all else has been deleted. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
